What is the GFWC  Progress Club
of Las Cruces?

Our Club was organized in 1914 by women associated with NMSU, in order to
pursue various charitable and educational purposes.

In 1915, the Progress Club of Las Cruces affiliated with
the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC),
a worldwide organization dedicated to volunteer community service.

Last year, we raised $51,693 in total donations, $134,911 in in-kind donations, and 32,491 total volunteer hours. Several of the local entities who benefit from our donations are listed here.
